Tuna salad starts with a blend of two main ingredients: Tuna and mayonnaise. The tuna used is usually pre-cooked, canned, and packaged in water or oil. Chopped celery, apples , olives ,and boiled eggs are foremost among the ingredients that are often added. When the mixture is placed on bread, it makes a tuna salad sandwich. Ingredients: 1 cup chopped celery 1 cup chopped apples 1 cup chopped boiled eggs ( egg yolk removed) 1/2 cup chopped olives 1/2 light mayonnaise 5 cans of tuna in sunflower oil or tuna in brine (discard oil or water) 1/4 teaspoon salt dash of black pepper Procedure: mix all ingredients.
